What We Do
Welcome to Jewels Puppyland. I am Karene Straub, I am a professional mental health therapist but my dogs are my sanity. I bought my first Shih Tzu almost 6 years ago, and just comletely fell in love with the breed. Jordi (our first born) is the apple of my husband's eye. Approximately 3 years ago we bought a female Shih Tzu to breed to Jordi because we loved his disposition and attitude so much. Since then things around our house has went crazy we bought 3 more Shih Tzu's all imperial and chocolate or liver. We soon fell in love with Cavaliers and Yorkies. Shortly after that my cousin sold me all of his yorkeis. All my dogs are either in the house or in their air conditioned building with outside runs. All my dogs are socialized daily. All puppies are born in the house and stay in the house until they are 5 weeks and then they either continue in the house or go to the building so they can have more room to play.
